The presentation will examine a new language for computers being developed at the MIT Data Center Program that will enable data and mathematical model interoperability across the Internet. It includes an overview of the M Language including its development and current state of application in industry. Examples will include a range of situations experienced by sponsors of the MIT Data Center Program with specific focus on controlling agricultural risk for the grape industry.
Schuster’s new book, “Global RFID: The Value of the EPCglobal Network for Supply Chain Management,” will be available next month and examples from it will be used during the seminar.
